Our record in serving youth in low-income minority communities is one that underscores what can be done. The "achievement gap" that is prevalent both nationwide and statewide is being narrowed every year in each of our schools. Our schools have various benchmarks of success:

AQS has:
· Managed three of the highest achieving elementary charter schools in Chicago
· Enrolled its elementary graduates in the top selective enrollment high schools
· Graduated 85-90% of high school students from high minority poverty communities and neighborhoods in Illinois and Indiana
· Managed two of the highest achieving elementary schools in Indiana as judged by the Indiana State Board of Education
· Operated one of the highest achieving elementary schools with a refugee immigrant student body
· Operated one of the highest academic achieving schools with a majority Hispanic bi-lingual student body
